Luke Legs and the Midnight Specials win Artist of the Year, to perform at Port Fairy Folk Festival, St Kilda Festival, and a whole lot more!

So firstly, a massive pat on the back to Luke Legs, who took out Artist of the Year in the Unpaved Reader Awards!
Secondly, we have had a busy January, recording and mixing our brand spanking new single Gloria (To be released on Vinyl Early March 2013). It was recorded with Si Cotter (Paul Kelly, Courtney Barnett) at HeadGap studio’s in Thornbury, and mastered by legendary Adam Dempsey. We will be releasing two songs from the recording, Gloria, a song about reaching for the stars, and a song named Brother.
So….. In other exciting news We are thrilled to announce that we have been invited to perform at so many great shows and festivals in 2013 including Port Fairy Folk Festival, St. Kilda Festival (special in-store appearance) Geelong Night Market, QV Melbourne Summer Series, and Airey’s Inlet Open Mic Festival. Thankyou to our fans for the continual support, all gigs are free, and we look forward to seeing y’all soon!

JUST ANNOUNCED: Geelong’s Nash Hotel is closing down. For EVER!
And then the big one – we’re delighted to announce that we’re playing at the Queenscliff Music Festival, alongside such legends of Australian music like You Am I, Missy Higgins,The Cat Empire and many, many more.
